Chris Worthington is an economist with twenty years of experience in local economic development at Swindon Borough Council, North Somerset Council and in his home city of Bristol.
His interest in economic development started when he worked with Voluntary Service Overseas in Jamaica, in between playing village cricket and touring the island on a motorbike. On returning to the UK he worked in two small businesses in Brixton, London.
He currently writes newsletters for us here at Property Options, as well as for local agents Lets Rent and articles on the economics of the buy to let market in Your Property Network, the well known monthly magazine for landlords and buy to let investors.
Chris’s overall aim is to provide factual information to assist buy to let investors with their investment decisions. His articles include a monthly report on the buy to let market in specific towns and cities.
Chris is a buy to let investor himself and in his spare time he writes film reviews for a local paper and short plays.
Brexit and the Bristol Property Market
2017 has started as 2016 left off, with Brexit top of the agenda here in the UK.
In 2017 we also have key taxation changes coming into effect.

Chris is a very knowledgeable speaker and his talk will be of considerable interest to all investors, both in our own local Bristol market and across the UK. We are looking forward to an exciting and inspiring evening. So do make sure you join us on 23 February 2017 at Holiday Inn, Bristol City Centre, 6-9 pm
